When looking for a med spa it’s very important to find one that’s legitimate. When it comes to your face and skin you can’t be too careful. And while these things can be a taboo subject, it really shouldn’t be! Remember to each their own! While my lips are already a good size I’ve been wanting to get them a little enhanced for awhile now. That’s when a good friend of mine highly recommended Erica with Bulverde Med Spa.

The day I had my appointment I had such a welcoming experience. Erica made sure that I was fully informed on how my lips would be plumped and made sure I was comfortable before starting. She did a “mini” on me so it really just enhanced and brought out what was already there.The product used is a hyaluronic acid called Versa.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that is present in the body. My lips were numbed for about 20 min, then she started the process. The pain was very minimal. On a scale of 1-10 for me it was a 2. It felt like a small pinch (a few times I didn’t feel a thing) and then I felt a small amount of pressure when the Versa was being administered. I was so impressed that there was zero down time!!! I had no bruising, no pain and the minimal amount of swelling only lasted 3 days. I was so happy about that and I’m so happy with the outcome!

If your on the fence I highly recommend Erica and Versa! She made me feel so comfortable and also set up a follow up appointment to make sure everything is ok and that I’m 100% happy!
