Brand New Hampton Inn Hotel on the San Antonio Riverwalk

I am so excited to share my two night stay at the new Hampton Inn & Suites hotel in San Antonio!

Here are the specs!

Your Historic Texan Experience

“From 1867 to 1884, The Chisolm Trail was a major route out of Texas for more than 3 million Longhorn cattle to be driven North (toward the Kansas railhead) for transport to the Eastern United States to be sold.  This provided a steady source of income that helped the impoverished state recover from the Civil War. The Soledad “Cattle Walk” allowed cattle to access the deepest part of the San Antonio River for water preparing for the long journey ahead.

The historic Cattle Walk is now available for strolling and is home to Hilton’s dual-branded hotel, and the newest addition to the San Antonio Riverwalk.

Stay within a Historic Piece of Texas

Located as an entry point for the new dual-branded hotel on the Riverwalk, is the cattle walk.  Home2 Suites by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk and Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk are the perfect places to stay if you’re looking for a unique experience. The building is located on the grounds of the “Masonic Building” from 1881, and the hotel itself incorporates parts of this historic Masonic building that was formally the Bexar County Courthouse.”

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I love the Texas theme with the colors and textiles they decided to use! They offer valet parking for $39 a day. Pets are allowed with a $75 fee on one section of the hotel. There is access to a fitness center, Coffee and hot Chocolate bar, Breakfast and WIFI are complimentary, there is also an area in the front where they offer snacks, drinks and any extra’s incase you may have forgotten something when you packed! There is also direct access to the riverwalk! The beds were so incredibly soft and I love that my room had wood plank floors! The balcony over looked the river and the railing was see through for the ultimate view!

Also the pool area was gorgeous!!! In my opinion it was “a tropical island meets Texas”!

The service was wonderful and the entire staff that I met was AMAZING!!!
